Our story
Liverpool Varicose Veins Clinic was established because there was a clear need — a gap between what the NHS could offer and what patients deserved. Varicose vein treatment was removed from routine NHS provision for the majority of patients. Many were left without options, or facing very long waits for a diminishing service.
We set up at 75 Rodney Street to provide the highest quality vascular surgical care to patients across the North West at prices that are fair and transparent. We use inclusive pricing — no hidden fees — and we treat every patient as an individual, not a number.
Today we are the North West’s most decorated vein clinic, having won the GHP Best Varicose Vein Clinic in Northwest award for four consecutive years — 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Our clinic is located at 75 Rodney Street, Liverpool L1 9EX — one of the most famous medical addresses in the North West. Rodney Street has been home to Liverpool’s leading private consultants and specialists for over 200 years.
The clinic is fully equipped for all vascular ultrasound assessment and outpatient vein treatments. All ClariVein ablation and foam sclerotherapy procedures are performed here. In the rare cases where surgery is required — approximately 2% of patients — Mr Blair operates at Murrayfield Hospital on the same street.
